Cree Animals – an educational project featuring thirty illustrations that bring to life the animals inhabiting the Plains Cree Territory in Canada. Cree is one of the most widely spoken Indigenous languages in the country, alongside Inuktitut and Ojibwe. This project is created with deep gratitude and respect for the Cree communities, celebrating their knowledge and helping to preserve and share their language. It invites learners to discover the names of Cree animals, encouraging the language to continue being spoken, heard, and carried forward by new generations.
